The word of "Eid" is an Arabic name means a feast.Muslims have two major Eids."Eid al-Fitr" the festival of breaking the fast of Ramadan. And "Eid al-Adha" the festival of sacrifice.
Here is my Eid card
I have inserted this card in the following challenges:
- ABC Challenge "H for Holidays"
- AiFactory challenge "Die cut"
Thanks for the quick lesson on Eid al-Adha. Since Eid means "feast" does that mean that both Eid's are big celebrations with meals? Hope you have a "Happy Adha Eid"!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jade.
ReplyDeleteMeals are some sort of celebration in those days.Because Eid al-Fitr comes after one month fasting and Eid al-Adha is for sacrificing a sheep.Eating the third, giving poor people the third and giving our relatives the last third :)
aw... this is just so cute and lovely...
ReplyDeleteHappy Eid al-Adha to you and family :)
